Features

The KFA6-ER-Ex1.W.LB features a single-channel isolated barrier and operates on a 230V AC supply. It offers an adjustable response sensitivity ranging from 1 kΩ to 150 kΩ, allowing for customization based on specific application requirements. The sensitivity can be easily adjusted using a potentiometer, and the device includes DIP switches for additional configuration options. It supports reinforced insulation according to IEC/EN 61010-1, ensuring a rated insulation voltage of 300 Veff. The KFA6-ER-Ex1.W.LB also provides signal damping with time constants of 0.5 s, 2 s, 5 s, or 10 s, enhancing signal stability.

Function

The KFA6-ER-Ex1.W.LB functions by continuously monitoring the conductivity between electrodes and triggering relay outputs when the measured resistance falls within the set range. It can be configured for on/off control or min/max control, offering flexibility for various industrial processes. The device includes line fault detection to ensure reliable operation, with a red LED indicating any lead breakage or short circuits. Its ability to operate within an ambient temperature range of -20°C to 60°C (-4°F to 140°F) makes it suitable for demanding industrial environments.
