Features

The KFD2-STC4-Ex1 features a single-channel isolated barrier with a 24V DC supply, powered via a Power Rail. It supports input from 2-wire and 3-wire SMART transmitters and current sources, converting the input signal into an isolated current output. The device offers selectable output modes and includes integrated test sockets for HART communicators, facilitating easy maintenance and configuration. The KFD2-STC4-Ex1 is designed with reinforced insulation according to IEC/EN 61010-1, ensuring a rated insulation voltage of 300 Veff. It also supports a wide ambient temperature range of -20°C to 60°C (-4°F to 140°F) and includes a unique collective error messaging feature when used with the Power Rail system.
