Description
Stepping into the 690 V realm, the ACS880-17-0174A-7 delivers 174 A of regenerative performance with the elegance of a much smaller drive. Its 3-level NPC topology cuts switching losses and EMI, allowing the unit to sit side-by-side with sensitive PLCs without extra shielding. The active supply unit can lock phase within 20 ms of mains return, perfect for plants served by weak rural grids. A built-in “process-observer” macro models the mechanical load in real time, automatically tuning speed loops for maximum stability without manual PID tweaking. The drive’s coated boards survive 3C3 corrosive atmospheres, while an anti-condensation heater keeps dew at bay in coastal installations.
