The ABB PSR softstarter range is a compact and reliable motor soft starting solution, suited for applications requiring many starts per hour and installations where space is limited. PSR provides soft start and stop functionality, reducing mechanical and electrical stresses compared to direct-on-line (DOL) starting. Built-in bypass reduces energy loss at full speed. Rated operational current spans 3 A to 105 A with a main voltage range of 208–600 V AC and control voltage options of 100–240 V AC or 24 V AC/DC (depending on suffix).
