The ACS880-07C-0098A-7+P974 scales the 690 V range to 90 kW while remaining within the compact R7 frame, striking an enviable balance between power density and serviceability. At its heart lies a newly developed silicon-carbide (SiC) freewheeling diode set that slashes switching losses, allowing the drive to maintain 98.2 % efficiency across the entire 20–100 % load envelope. The P974 control platform introduces “curve-on-the-fly” functionality: pre-programmed torque-speed curves switch automatically according to product recipe codes sent via OPC UA from plant MES, eliminating manual operator intervention. A patented labyrinth air path forces incoming air through a two-stage washable filter, extending maintenance intervals to 12 months even in dusty cement environments. The integrated dc choke reduces mains harmonic current THD to < 35 %, meeting the strictest utility codes without additional line reactors.
