Description
With 271 A at 690 V, the ACS880-17-0271A-7 is the bridge between medium and heavy-duty 690 V applications. Its active front end employs SiC diodes for a combined efficiency of 98.7 %, reducing heat load and allowing side-by-side mounting without derating. The drive’s regenerative capability can export 271 A continuously while importing the same, perfect for cyclic loads like downhill conveyors or large centrifuges. A built-in micro-grid islanding function supports black-start of an entire plant substation from the drive’s DC link, keeping critical cooling fans alive during outages. A QR-enabled AR manual overlays wiring instructions on any smartphone camera, cutting commissioning time by 40 %.
