Safety is a priority, with integrated certified Safe Torque Off (STO) functionality as standard. It can be used in safety-related functions up to SIL3 / PLe, meeting various safety requirements without additional safety components.

The DCS880 series supports all major fieldbus protocols, ensuring seamless communication with automation systems. It offers extended connectivity options, including three built-in slots for additional input/output extension modules and speed feedback interfaces.
