Description
Occupying the critical gap between modest 55 kW and heavier 90 kW loads, the ACS880-07C-0084A-7+P974 delivers 75 kW from 84 A at 690 V within the same slender R6 footprint. The unit’s hallmark is its “silent run” profile—only 79 dB(A) at one metre—achieved by a slow-speed, large-diameter fan coupled with aerofoil blades normally found in HVAC chillers. Despite its quiet demeanour, the P974 brain inside executes torque-vector calculations every 62.5 µs, providing rock-solid speed holding for winding applications or precise tension control. A built-in EMC filter meets C3 limits without external chokes, while an optional sine-wave filter eliminates bearing currents in older 690 V motors. Front-access power terminals and a swing-out control plate give technicians full reach without removing the door, slashing mean time to repair.
