The regenerative stage can swing 370 A in both directions within 1 ms, making it ideal for test rigs that must reverse torque at full speed. A built-in micro-grid controller can island an entire production line, forming a stable 690 V grid from its own DC link during outages. The drive’s firmware includes a “compressor surge” macro that monitors discharge pressure in real time and adjusts speed to avoid destructive stall conditions.
