Description

The KFD2-SR2-Ex1.W is a versatile 1-channel isolated barrier designed for use in intrinsic safety applications across various industrial sectors. It excels in transferring digital signals from NAMUR sensors or mechanical contacts in hazardous areas to safe areas, ensuring reliable communication between field devices and control systems. This device is equipped with a form C changeover relay contact, providing enhanced flexibility in system design and operation. The relay contact can be configured to meet specific application requirements, making it suitable for a wide range of Industrial Automation tasks. The KFD2-SR2-Ex1.W features a removable terminal block with an integrated self-opening device, simplifying installation and wiring processes.
