The ACS880-17-0145A-3 elevates the same regenerative architecture to the next power tier while remaining within a 300 mm-wide cabinet slice. The unit’s active rectifier operates at unity power factor across the entire load range, eliminating leading or lagging VAR penalties on the mains. Advanced thermal management—combining an extruded heatsink, smart fan profiling and real-time junction-temperature estimation—lets the drive live in 50 °C environments without derating. A built-in choke reduces line harmonics so effectively that even legacy generators in island-mode micro-grids stay stable.
