Features

The KFD2-STC3-Ex1 features a single-channel isolated barrier with a 24V DC supply, powered via a Power Rail. It supports input from 2-wire SMART transmitters, converting the input signal into an isolated current output. The device includes integrated test sockets for HART communicators, facilitating easy maintenance and configuration. It is designed with reinforced insulation according to IEC/EN 61010-1, ensuring a rated insulation voltage of 300 Veff. The KFD2-STC3-Ex1 also supports a wide ambient temperature range of -20°C to 60°C (-4°F to 140°F) and includes a unique collective error messaging feature when used with the Power Rail system.
